The boring-but-necessary agreement between you and Listi. We've tried to write it like a person, not a photocopier.
By creating an account or using Listi, you're agreeing to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you're using Listi on behalf of a brokerage or team, you're confirming you have the authority to agree to these Terms on their behalf too.
Listi is a tool that turns your listing details into marketing copy (descriptions, captions, emails, flyer text, and the like) using AI. It's built to save you time, not to replace your judgment. You're still the licensed professional; Listi is the assistant that never gets tired of writing Instagram captions.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Give us accurate info when you sign up (a real email address helps, since it's how we reach you about your account). If you think your account's been compromised, email us right away.
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, unless stated otherwise) through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Services Agreement. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time from the billing portal. Cancellation stops future charges but doesn't refund the current billing period. If we ever change pricing on an existing plan, we'll give you notice before it takes effect.
This is the part about who owns what, so let's be direct about it: you own everything you upload. Your listing photos, your headshot, your brokerage's logo: all yours, before, during, and after you use Listi.
By uploading a photo, logo, or other content, you're telling us two things: first, that you actually have the right to use and upload it (it's your photo, or you're licensed to use it, or it's your brokerage's own logo, not something lifted from somewhere you don't have permission to use); and second, you're giving Listi a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and include that content in the marketing materials we generate for you. That's it: we use it to build your kit and show it back to you. We don't claim any ownership or copyright over anything you upload, we don't license it to anyone else, and we don't use it for anything beyond running the service for you.
The copy Listi generates for your listing is yours to use. That said, it's AI-generated, so treat it the way you'd treat a first draft from a very fast, very caffeinated assistant: read it before you post it. You're responsible for making sure the final content you publish is accurate, complies with Fair Housing law and MLS rules, and includes whatever disclosures your state requires (like your license number, if that applies to you: we'll auto-add it if you've told us to on your profile, but it's still on you to confirm it's there and correct before it goes out). Listi doesn't guarantee generated content is error-free, compliant with every local regulation, or guaranteed to sell your listing faster. It's a head start, not a substitute for your professional judgment.
Please don't use Listi to generate or publish anything discriminatory, fraudulent, defamatory, or illegal, including content that would violate Fair Housing laws. Please don't try to abuse, reverse-engineer, or overload the service, resell access without our OK, or use it to build a competing product. Basically: use it the way it's meant to be used, and we'll get along fine.
Listi runs on top of a few trusted vendors: Supabase (hosting and our database), Stripe (payments), and Anthropic's Claude (generating your marketing copy). Details on what each of them sees are in our Privacy Policy.
Listi is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it reliable and accurate, but we can't promise it'll be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly suited to every situation, and we can't promise any particular business result from using it. To the extent the law allows, Listi isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You can cancel your account any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, doesn't pay its bill, or poses a security risk to the service or other users. If your account is terminated, your right to use Listi ends, though provisions that by their nature should survive (like the ownership and liability sections above) still apply.
We may update these Terms as Listi grows. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and for any change that meaningfully affects your rights, we'll let active users know directly. Continuing to use Listi after a change means you're OK with the update.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Listi is based in San Antonio, Texas.
